We have replaced the traditional sales meeting with a curated architectural process. This ensures that every Ask og Eng kitchen is a perfect alignment of your functional needs and our aesthetic integrity.
01. INITIAL CONSULTATION & CURATION
Start your journey by sharing your vision with us. To provide the best architectural advice, we invite you to share your drawings and measurements through our Material Study. This allows us to prepare a tailored initial assessment before our first conversation. We don’t just look at dimensions; we look at the potential for “honest architecture” in your space.
02. PROJECT ALIGNMENT
A dedicated session—conducted in-person at our Studios or through a digital consultation—to align your lifestyle with the Ask og Eng aesthetic. We define the spatial flow and the material integrity of your kitchen, ensuring that our craftsmanship meets your functional needs. This is where the technical requirements of a kitchen are elevated into a cohesive architectural statement.
04. DESIGN APPROVAL & INVESTMENT OVERVIEW
Based on our dialogue, we present a curated proposal including a volume estimate and material specifications. This is more than a quote; it is a transparent overview of your investment in a legacy piece built to last for generations. We treat every kitchen as a permanent installation of functional art.
05. CRAFT & INSTALLATION
Once the design is finalized, your project enters our workshop in Drammen. Here, it is hand-crafted over a 12-week production cycle by master artisans who understand the unique soul of the material. Our specialized team ensures a seamless installation, bringing the permanent serenity of the Ask og Eng spirit into the heart of your home.

The Mountain Retreat
A study in contrasts. Traditional log architecture meets contemporary refinement. We introduced a unified material language to the Norwegian mountains, letting smooth bamboo surfaces dialogue with the raw texture of exposed wood. A warm, intentional sanctuary built to settle the space.
The Drammen Hillside
A study in monochrome warmth. Overlooking the city, this kitchen is anchored by deep bamboo surfaces that dialogue with the natural pine walls. Minimalistic and classic, the dark grain grounds the light from the hillside, creating a space defined by material honesty and a quiet view.
